snot, sick, shit, tears and tantrums

What a day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Started this morning quite cute with 2 little ones playing hairdressers... (Wayne didn't know what a hairdresser was lol!!) Must put that on my to do list...I do Wayne and Rons hair and never cut mine!!
Anyway they disappeared to the toliet and I checked as i do....flush toilet...wash hands....one came out with a wet patch on the back of her head....then I spotted the handwash in the playroom and mindee rubbing the back of her head...I asked her what she was doing and she turned round and her hair was full of froth...lol.....she was washing her hair with handwash of course...and put it on other mindee....sigh you have to laugh.....

Took one to nursery and picked up other two and they were coughing...and snotting...urghh....they didn't sleep long due to coughing and all woke each other up...so lots of grumps....then one kept having tantrums...throwing himself on the floor for no apparent reason...the other threw up on me twice...and in the mean time I was wiping snotty noses..and changing yukky nappies..and no clean clothes so baby ended up in Waynes jumper!!...Ron phoned me and I just had no chance of answering and sent him a text saying I could not answer the phone right now as I was having a nervous breakdown!!...his workmate was worried I really was lol...so was I at one point.....it was horrendous.......and on a day when I'm over my numbers...the other 3 just had to entertain themselves...mind you they were entertained by all the yukkiness going on...strange how kids want to see all the poo and sick...but stand there saying...urghh it smells...it's yuk....WELL DON'T STAND THERE THEN!!!! oh and the tears....my tears lol

Phew that's better...I think they may be in for the pox....we'll see if they come tomorrow....god help me...poor little things though x

Folks for tea...but it was a blur....and I've just found a pack about child safety week...it's only this week!!!So been downloading stuff for them to do and emailed the fire service to see if we can do a visit....and now I'm off to print some Sam Tan stuff for them to colour in............

Today was sunny...yehhh....and we went to pili palas again, but, were able to enjoy the outdoor stuff. Met two ex mindees and one future...so the kids had a whale of a time. I took policies for new one...to mums delight...lol..

Home to play out and enjoy the sunshine

I phoned to cancel my pc appointment this morning as the day was too nice to spend ages in pc world...and the bloody appointment wasn't booked....idiots!! Do you want to reschedule madam?....NO....

Tonight my pilates was cancelled sigh...but no matter as I nipped to asda and went for a swim anyway....and they've booked me for a 'Gym Induction' next week...rofl...apparently it takes an hour with a fitness instructor...sigh...hope he's dishy...not sure I'll last otherwise...lol....joking aside you never know I may become a fitness addict.....ha ha...as if.....but hey if you don't try you never know....also had my pack today...got a free half hour treatment...3 guest passes..and a bulletin...so if I fancy an overpriced bbq, a day a chester races or a ball.....!!??!!!

Had an email back from the peruvian place about a funday next weekend....not sure if we'll go, Waynes got a party at 12...sounds like my sort of thing though...strange...lol...infact will see if I can blog the poster...going to print it out and put it in the local shop...well the guy does treat me well when I go x

Oh and today I have been the official chicken pox hotline...why phone nhs direct when you've got me lol

strawberries and bananas!!!!!!!!!!!

Today had one of the twins due to the other one having chicken pox....was going to stay in but we had tears at wake up time and it must have been weird being just one...if you know what I mean!

So took off to Pili Palas as it was really windy and couldn't think of anywhere else....had a good time playing, bouncing and looking at the animals...but there were loads of bigger kids and it was busy and in the end it did my head in so we headed off....

I'd noticed in the paper they were doing pyo strawberries at hootons so decided to try that as it is quite sheltered there. The kids had a great time and we came back with a load of strawberries which I gave half of to mindee to take home for mum and ill one....had a bit of a strange one today...not blogable...confidentiality and all that...but hoping all works out as I seem to be a bit of a piggie in the middle....

Tonight I have been tearing my hair out.....need to get paperwork for new starter and being as I only have the hard copy of the handbook decided to reel off a few....did I say reel...the bloody printer went bananas...my hands are covered in ink...I've got the book out and cleaned the heads...and it has worked in fits and starts.....between which I have been cursing as bad as Ron....lol....sooo frustrating...especially as I wanted 3 copies of each policy and when it went bananas I only got 1 or 2...so have had to trawl through and sort out what I had....arghhhhhh....anyway all done now....roll on pilates tomorrow ...lol

Last night I ordered a dvd and some music.....just to do my familys head in lol

Ron had a day at home reading his book and finished it............and put Wayne to bed for me...I must have been stressed....and even after I warned him I will be back after bedtime tomorrow....well pilates is 6-7 and if I go for a swim and take my book I can have a quiet hour or so after....wonder if all this relaxation is the reason I'm getting so stressed....perhaps I was better being on the go 24-7!!!!

Just had a call from Mum who was oblivious to the fact I'd upgraded them last night..

No one at the hotel had told them what I'd done, Mum and Dad just thought they were lucky getting a fancy room...and left before breakfast as they didn't know it had been paid for!!

The hotels just had an email from me....honestly.......

Oh well apparently my Mums always wanted to sleep in a four poster.....

swimming

Today Wayne graced us with a late start....yehhh....he woke me up at 10.30 to say he'd had breakfast...oh no!! Went in the kitchen and he'd had Weetos (crap I know but bought as a reward for being good at eating his tea)I was expecting a big mess....but no....he'd had some, put the bowl in the sink, milk back in the fridge and put the weetos in the cereal tub and back in the cupboard....my little cherub x

We had a fry up and due to torrential rain the sailing was off so Ron took Wayne swimming...outside lol!! They had a fab time and bumped into mindees, so Wayne enjoyed it all the more.....

I stayed home and cleaned....NOOOO don't be silly this is the new me....I sloped off to the Hall....spent 2 hours relaxing, did lots of swimming and took my pilates book to read in peace...trouble was when it got to the exercises I could hardly do them there!! Might freak everyone out!! Did try the breathing though and think I cracked it at one point...I went all dizzy...lol...not sure if that's supposed to happen!

I came out and popped to asda, I was thinking of chinese tonight but after all that exercise felt like something healthy so got ham and salad and came home and baked some baquettes (out of a packet lol) and did chips with them!! there goes the healthy bit...they were scrummy though.

Then I mopped the kitchen and I've put some washing on, as looks like I'm working tomorrow so though I'd better make an effort! I did think about hoovering but that's as far as I got.....

So a nice day for all.....................

lots of jobs done......

This morning was quiet, one slept and the other helped me with jobs and played.

I rang the tax credits as I've filled in the forms...and now had more!! All sorted now. I also phoned the NCMA as I realised my Quality First Portfolio had been sent 22 weeks ago...and it's supposed to take 12 weeks to be assessed!! And lastly I phoned the hotel Mum and Dad are stopping at tonight, hoping to pay for it, but Dad had already paid!! So I upgraded them to a four poster suite and breakfast....hope they don't mind! They never go to a hotel but they've gone for a cousins ruby wedding (I think)and as dad wouldn't let me pay for the meal the other night thought it would be a nice way to treat them......hope they think so too x

Went to nettos to get a new car seat for Wayne, he's a bit big for his other one now...then onto Jumpin Jacks with the intention of having lunch...which we did....but it took so long we missed half of Jumpin Jacks!!! Shel was texting me to see where we were.....then gave me loads of stick about my pilates and new membership...lol...bet she'll come along at some point...no good while she's feeding though!..then she said a while back she'd bought a pilates video and a ball, then sat and watched it eating cake...and never bothered again...rofl...so she's obviously a secret saddo like me.....I'm just brazen about it lol

School then home for play then tea, then I sneaked off for a swim while Ron fiddled with Waynes new bike which I'd put together last night and then helped Wayne round the house on it....it's his first without stabilizers....although there should have been some, so just emailed to complain!! but really it would be good to get him riding it as it is....

I had a lovely hour swimming and steaming and bubbling.........I wanted to go tonight as Ron may be going sailing tomorrow and I'm working Sunday...chicken pox permitting!! so may be my only chance this weekend....but if the sailing fails I'll be sloping off tomorrow....lol

Today I had an unexpected morning off as S had sports day, so I had a lovely soak in the bath...and then cleaned the bathroom, the fridge, did 2 loads of washing...did the tesco credit card, sorted some papers to shred, paid my car insurance...with great pain...lol..and booked the pc for a healthcheck (free)...trouble is what will I do without it??????????

Wayne had a bad night last night and I went in with him, he only woke a few times but he was coughing bad, I was worried, but he's been ok today, still coughing but ok....they're always worse at night x

12 o'clock and 3 turned up at once so made lunch and then we went to the library, part of childminding week, it's all literacy this year. We played with the train set...although the trains were missing. Luckily...or maybe not...one of the mindees had brought 2 cars so they played with them.....later I threw them in my bag and heard a crunch....only gone and cracked my phone!!!!

We read some books and made lots of noise!!!! well you can't quieten an 8 month old!!
Came out with lots of books and I got a pilates one...see if it tells me how to breathe from my inner core...lol.....I HAVE been practicing but it's not working I still use my chest......

School then home to play, tea and now waiting for tescos......

Waynes been really good with eating the last few days and I was giving him lots of praise tonight and I said he was my good boy....he said
'I'm your not well good boy mummy' cute x

Ha ha and now he's being even cuter.....sat on the loo and singing ...usual poo routine lol...he's singing....Heads, sausage knees and toes.....oh and now 'mummy I've finished'...gotta go x

Today we went to music club and iced biscuits...nice messy fun.....Wayne made one for everyone tonight as its Grandads birthday.....

Home to have lunch then due to horrible wind and rain spent the afternoon just playing, singing nursery rhymes and dancing...well I was ...the kids were just amused lol

School then back to play again...

Wayne's sniffing has turned to bad coughing and he was dreadful by tonight....plus he woke up at 7am.....I didn't want him to go for a meal tonight, even though it's Grandads birthday, but he wanted to.....we had a lovely meal and Wayne was ok, but it started badly with Great Grandma cornering him and hounding him....omg I know she won't change at 92 but just once it would be nice if she could not criticise!! What did she say to him??

didn't hear a school one tonight.....but she's going to find out soon, and her niece from Americas here in September...so even worse......

Wayne ended nearly in tears and we got him relocated to a safer seat .....it's horrible really as it brings back everything she used to say to me...constant criticism...never happy with anything...and worse now as she's older and she wonders why I don't go there regular, I'm not putting Wayne through what I put up with, she comes here once a week and I have tears after and have to reassure Wayne as it is..........awful thing to say but true...

Anyway he fell asleep on the way back and he's now in bed, he woke up when we got back and went to sleep asking me why Great Grandma was nasty to him.....I just explained that she's old and doesn't think or mean it....bless him x and he said 'but she does bring me my favourite food, chocolate'....sigh.......

I took a cake for Dad...you know...being 65 he really wanted to blow out candles...lol....no for Waynes benefit....even that was disaterous....Great Gran was mumbling about having a cake at home we could nip back for.....yeh with Wayne ill an extra half hour there....and more travelling would be great...it was 8ish by the time we got in as it was.....the idea of meeting central was so we wouldn't be back too late and to save Dad some travelling

Anyway I think Dad liked his present, got him slippers from Wayne....as requested...boring...lol.....and a framed personalised newspaper headline with best Dad of the year 2008, his pic and a write up about how he is the best dad....from this website haven't told Shel yet, she'll be rofl...she thought the Alpaca bear was mad!!

Talking of Shel, sent her a text last night after receiving one from her in reference to the pilates saying I was turning into a hippy veggie (what's wrong with that??) so sent one back saying they wouldn't let hippies become members of tre ysgawen hall....she never got the message!!!! but I read it out to Ron last night and he nearly fell over...lol....seems to like the idea of the free pass though...lol....just finding the time to go.....but I shall be going soon....I feel so stressed tonight!!!

fun day and spoilt surprises.....oh .....oh.....

Today we went to Beaumaris to a Fun Day for Childminding week, the kids loved it and me...bit of adult conversation, the usual bods there and I found out that our new development worker on Anglesey is D, I met her on my DHC, she's really nice....not really on though that she has a post that was made redundant a few weeks ago!!! but not her fault x no sign of a network though!

There was a bouncy castle, inflatables, balls, crafts, mine made butterflies, glittery ones!!! hmm my car is now glittered...and also plates with things you lick and stick...one of mine threw the lot on the floor they were stuck to her feet and everything!!

Had a picnic there and then mad dash to nursery, then pick up 2 and home for an hour of colouring before school, then back to play out......

Also done certificates for childminding week for the kids, welsh one side, english the other and laminated them...........

Grandad's birthday tomorrow so been getting pressies and cards ready, although Wayne still needs to write his card tomorrow...and I've forgotten a cake....just realised....have to get one tomorrow x

I was going to surprise Ron with a trip to Tre Hall and book him a massage, but it's failing miserably as Mums away this weekend and the only night would be Thurs and we've got Tescos coming!! I've not told him I've joined yet...was going to be the surprise when I took him, but going to have to tell him now as I'm off Saturday and want to go...lol

Oh and in bad news the other twins now got chicken pox...poor mum....and Waynes been sneezing tonight....hoping he's not coming in for some horrible lurgy!!

Oh and tonight I decided to look under the sink to see what the smell was...unscrewed the pipes and gave it all a bleach...yuk....hopefully the smell will go!!

Today we went to pili palas and met up with H and family, looking after A in a few weeks so trying to get together to get her used to me, although she's a placid, good baby so should be fine x

School then home to play out.

Mad rush and just a butty for tea so I could get to my Pilates class, good, but just me and 2 older ladies...and I was creaking like an old chair...they put me to shame lol will be going back though

After that went for a swim, did 12 laps then home to put Wayne to bed....knew I should have stayed longer lol

So not a very exciting day....ha ha...did you spot it...went for a swim....yes I joined...crippled my credit card...but sod it...I deserve it x

Happy Fathers Day

Had a lovely day today.

Started with me cooking breakfast!!! What...that's Rons job lol

Then off to Penrhyn Castle to see some vintage and classic cars, Ron saw one he learnt to drive in...old bugger...lol...and there was morris minor like dad had

We went round the castle and Wayne did a quiz, which kept his interest and he wrote all the answers...then the trains, dolls museum and slavery exhibition...Wayne didn't know what a slave was...but didn't like the idea of being one when he found out lol

Grandma and Grandad ariived and we went to the adventure playground and then to the walled gardens which we've never done before..MUM....they were lovely though and we saw tadpoles and newts in the ponds and went to the bog garden under the gunnerer (spelling !!??) I remember it from when I was little, like big rhubarb...will blog a pic. The hut had been burnt down in March...criminal damage...how could they!!??

Then to the cafe for a drink and we were starving...but too late for grub so the folks called for chips and we met up at Uncle Jacks to scoff them.

Home to do a little work...but not too much...I've been so lazy this weekend...lovely....and about time

On the Tre Ysgawen Hall front...got the details and it's cheaper than I thought and you get £100 credit for treatments, and you get 3 free guest passes...which would normally be £10 a guest... and you get 20% off some stuff and 10% off others....can I resist????? and got a reply from the pilates woman saying come along...she has similar rib problems to me....Ron thinks I'm having a mid life crisis....lol...he'll change his mind when I take him to the Hall....oh that's if I join??????!!!!!

am I going bananas?? lol

oh and while I was relaxing in the jacuzzi today I was thinking about what Ron said this morning....why not go to Llangefni for a swim...much cheaper....ha ha....may be cheaper but kids bombing, weeing urghh.....I need a break from them lol

Emailed earlier to find out about membership, I've worked out if I've got it right! it'll work out as £16 a week....4 hours of work...for unlimited swimming in a luxury pool, jacuzzi, steam...avoid the sauna lol...and treat the gym with care...well don't want to overdue it...I'm very tempted...see what they come back with!!!

And I've emailed the pilates woman, apparently the yoga and salsa have finished for now....but need to check I can do it......

See I am determined to get me time lol

lady of leisure

After a mad dash to get Wayne to mums, I had a fantastic day.

Swimming, steam room, jacuzzi, sauna (didn't like that too bloody hot lol)did a few miles in the gym and there was hardly anyone there. In fact for an hour I had the Spa to myself!! This was followed by a Sea of Dreams massage...full body....then lunch...and yes I was bloody starving by then!! and couldn't eat half of it....hate having allergies....

Popped to the Paloma place on the way back, log cabins you book for an hour, ones an infra red detox, ones a gym and one's a jacuzzi, saw the latter 2 and they are fab...can see a trip coming on! Might even take Ron x

Home to an empty house ( strange ) Ron had been for an mot on the car then picked up Wayne and took him to Nains where he'd had a fab time.

I was going to do some work but was so relaxed I couldn't be arsed, so put on cds and chilled......phoned Ron and he got a chinese on the way home....so no cooking either!! Although I did Rons hair and beard and brushed afterwards.....well I can't go all day without doing something menial lol

I feel like I could sleep on the spot, it's the longest time I've had to myself to relax for years....and it WILL be repeated xx

another weekend off!!!!!!!!!!!

Today we went to asda to get compost for the peas...and toms and sunflowers, then into town to do jobs and get take out to take to the Dingle. Had a walk and a picnic and very nice it was too.

Popped home with 2 sleeping, quick cuppa then off to jumpin jacks, only us and 2 others there so plenty of room for them to run off steam.

Usual chips in the cafe then school...nearly late due to roadworks....home to sow toms and play out....

Had a call tonight to say no twins tomorrow....Waynes going to Grandmas and I was taking the twins to foel farm....so decided to still take Wayne and get some me time....had a think and decided to phone Tre ysgawen...bit last minute...but they have a pamper session tomorrow 11 til 4.....so I booked....3 hours of pool, sauna, jacuzzi, gym...then an hour full body massage...then lunch...although by 3.15, which is lunchtime!! I'll be bloody starving!!

Done all my paperwork and looking forward to a weekend off...especially tomorrow x

just been downloading pics and had to blog this, my mum would be proud ....these are our peas..need to go get compost tomorrow so we can put them in pots, forget about them and they'll die....lol

ants and kids!!

Well after my relaxing evening, we had to put ant powder down last night, we kept seeing a few but there were loads...arghhhhh

This morning I had to brush it all up and mop as I had a newly crawling baby here!!...but gladly not seen an ant today..so hoping they're gone.

Shel came over this morning...with the avon book....must have read my mind x and new little cutie baby...ahhhh...no still not broody....lol

Shel was laughing at me....mindee yesterday is at the stage where they have a few words...and repeat....and repeat...and repeat...by the end of the day it was driving me crackers....I told Shel, even when I put him in the boot and put the sounds on I could still hear him!!......before anyone calls cssiw....I've got boot seats...I didn't bundle him in....lucky no one was here to overhear lol Funny though I was telling the mum tonight that today there's been a lot more stringing sentences...so yesterday was a test run....and the words are so clear x

Had a morning of play and trying to get kids to do fathers day cards.....managed one...the rest just wouldn't play ball...sigh

The afternoon was spent in the garden, then school

Waynes been a delight today!!!! Started with saying 'that postman pat is postman fat...then going on to sing...postman pat... postmans fat.....I wouldn't have minded but we were reversing out of the drive and 'postman fat' had just given me letters and was walking off, and all the windows were open....I drove off quick!!

And he dropped me in it today. We had one ice cream party cone the other day and S wanted it, but having 5 kids here I said no that's not fair on the others, I'll give it to Ron. Last night after tea Wayne spotted it and wanted it with 5 scoops of ice cream....so I let him as he'd eaten all his tea......but said don't tell S!!

WHAT does he do as soon as we picked up S?? She'd only just got in the car and he piped up 'I had the last party cone last night with 5 scoops of ice cream' git...must remember the rule never to tell a kid not to tell someone something....makes them keep it in the top of their mind lol

Got a fab pressie for dads birthday tonight...well I think it's fab, hope he does, all will be revealed next weds...if it comes....he shares his birthday with Sir Paul Mc Cartney, but Dads a year younger...always been a family joke....and the 'wish i had his money' comment lol....bet dads glad he's not got his ex 'trouble and strife'!

I'm off to look at tre ysgawen hall and open a spreadsheet, wondering how much membership works out per week.....I know the annual cost is ...yikes.....but if I break it down....ha ha watch this space x

me me me time

Just got back from my facial massage....lurverly...apparently my skin was congested...lol...tuts at me using soap and water and was offered a cleanser for £22...I know I'm treating myself...but £22!!!...I'll look in Shels avon book!!

Today we went to music club and did fathers day crafts and didn't do music, I wasn't doing it again and no one else offered! and I'd supplied the craft!!

Came home and played out til it rained, then school, then Wayne and S played babies which involved them using my old pram to push one another around outside, with lots of wahhhing...honestly Wayne is 5 and S is 9, but hey they enjoyed themselves!!

Then I set off for my ...me time....and what a small world, my facial was done by the wife of someone Ron works with, handy though she gave me tips for getting treatments etc and apparently the massage I had the other day which didn't undo my knots!! was because out of all the therapists, I got the one who does a mild one, got the names now of the ones that do a more intense massage...so will have to go back lol

I came back and I'd promised Wayne an extra story if he'd been good for Daddy...and he had....but he spent the whole time while I was reading looking at my face trying to work out what was different......he asked me earlier what I was going for, so I explained and I said mummy would come back looking beautiful (obviously didn't work!!) he said 'will they get rid of those things??' 'what things?' I said 'those freckly things like I get on my arms' he said....

No Wayne the answer is you are already beautiful mummy!!!

ha ha forgot...while we were in the cafe today they played my hero phil collins the whole time...am I sad or what....must be......must have a thing for balding men lol...mind you Ron had long red hair when I met him.........ha ha and I had no grey...omg I can't believe I only dyed my hair a few days ago and they're sprouting already....should I give up dyeing and just go grey??????????

Today we were going to the beach again but second mindees mum reminded me about a thing at Oriel Mon I'd heard about it and it was something to do with Ysgolion Meithrin...and wasn't sure if childminders were allowed...but gatecrashed anyway...well who was going to throw 3 kids out!!?? Well what a farce....parking was horrendous, we just got sat down (after walking past a building site with stone cutting...hmm nice dust for the kids...and scary noise!!) and one of mine said...'I need a wee'...so we had to trail back all round the building to find them.....

It was basically two guys singing welsh songs and lots of clapping, Wayne thought it was too noisy!!! and laid on the floor with hands on ears...sigh...mind you we bought the cd as the songs were good, all about the seasons and we've listened to it all day!!! the book that goes with it is all in welsh though so may have to get Ron to translate some....although it's probably south walian and he won't understand either!!!

It got better as when they'd finished we went to the displays, usual library, b from Twf, lang and play and kids info...all of who I know so lots of chatting..and the kids did lots of colouring and grabbing of freebies...Wayne was interested in the exhibition so I'm going to take him back on my own, there was some interesting stuff and I spotted story sacks, presumably history rather than goldilocks etc...

What a mad place to have a under 5 event though...a million pounds worth of art...crayons...felt tips and a mass of little ones!!!...and worse of all the cafe was closed!!!!

Went to Llangefni for lunch and spotted grandma and grandad...Wayne was so excited...but they didn't see us despite me knocking on the cafe window!

Dropped of one mindee and then picked up 2 more and home to play out, then school, then more outdoor play, then folks for tea.

Mum noticed our cros pals...luckily ron hasn't, I got a tinkerbell one yesterday lol

Tonight I've been downloading more stuff for the kids and photocopying fathers day stuff to take to music club tomoz....if it's ok with them...annoys me how mothers day is done without a thought but you have to be careful with fathers day...well not (annoys) but well dads are there...mind you with all this sunshine I blind forgot and have missed doing stuff with one mindee, but hopefully she'll be there tomoz so i can make up....so the rest of the week I need to think on....it's just this sunshine deters me.....................

field trip lol

Today we had a field trip...lol....listen to me...we did go and visit the largest neolithic tomb in Wales at Cable Bay...and Wayne was fascinated....we had an hour or so on the beach playing...and they found out crocs are better then buckets and spades...MY crocs...lol.....they had a fab time just enjoying the sun and the sand...the sea was a bit far out though

Had a picnic in the car boot...at their request...then home so my only mindee until school time could sleep...and she did for a bit...nice hour to myself...Wayne was watching a science channel about T rex..the dinosaur not the band...lol and someone came to collect a pram I'd put on freecycle too...Ron will be pleased more space in the garage..although his quad bits have come today so if he gets that sorted it will take over the garage...but he can't moan at me!!!

After school we played in the garden and I enjoyed the sun....spent a lot of today horizontal...lol....such a hard life being a childminder....

Mind you Mrs factor 50 has only gone and burnt her nose today....I spend half my time slapping cream on everyone and forgot myself today so my arms are slightly red too...tut tut

Waynes corker of the day...(apart from singing rudolf the red nosed reindeer this morning....he put a curse on me lol)....was when we were at the burial chamber, there was a field full of sheep..and Wayne said 'look mummy, look at those sheep, they look familiar' not sure what he meant lol...

unexpected day off........

Today i was awoken by a text at 8am...arghhhh...I'd set the alarm for 8.30...so got up...as Wayne had been disturbed and was bouncing round the bed...arghhhh

Got the cots out and brushed, mopped, went for a bath and the phone went again...mum of twins saying they weren't coming today..arggggghhhhhh...I could hvae stayed in bed.....but hey unexpected day off...nice......

Oh well at least the house was clean and I was up, we got the bouncy castle out and the sun was shining...

Ron got back from his night out...2am this time and slept on the floor...and his hips hurt...what was I saying about jacuzzis lol...

It was so nice I felt like a walk...one of my dreaded jaunts...lol....I thought it would be nice to go to Newborough...but too tight to pay the parking charge...so we parked in the forest intending to walk from there....BUT...Wayne was moaning about his legs hurting...and kept saying...are we there yet!! not even a mars bar could make him go on...so we turned back and went to Aberffraw...had a cuppa in the car...and read the tourist board...mile to the beach...and Wayne was saying...I want to go to a beach where we can just get out of the car.......

Back in the car and headed for the next one along the coast...jam packed...sigh...so to the next and got parked and it was great, paddle in the sea, Wayne was making sand angels in the sand...u know like snow angels....but with sand....he poured sand on my wet legs and down the back of my trousers...git... I laid down to enjoy the sun and he put a croc full of sand in my hair.....arghhh

Then we went to Rhosneigr for a wander, went to the beach and I threw Wayne in the sea...payback lol..then to a cafe for some grub...waited ages....and it was crap!!!

Went from there to see shel and the baby...Ron joined G in a beer or 2 and I had a cuddle with little A...broody....no chance...lol

Home late to de-sand ourselves...and I've done a tesco shop...and now I'm going to flop.....

This morning started well, Wayne didn't wake me up til 10am....Ron made brekkie...fry up...yum....I dyed my hair and defuzzed myself and had a soak in a bath with some fancy potion one of the mums gave me at christmas.....

THEN......I phoned tre ysgawen hall and booked a tranquility massage...for this afternoon...it was fab...

I told Wayne what I was doing and he went all sad and said he'd miss me....yeh like he missed me yesterday when he was with grandma...lol....I said to him...'don't you think mummy deserves a bit of time to herself?' and got a big nooooo....

Anyway I enjoyed it so much I've booked a facial next week...only cos it's on offer....like the massage....but feel a pamper day coming on...you can use the sauna, pool and jacuzzi then...

I texted shelly as I was going in to say where I was...and got grief....me me me...well yeh....it's the start of a bit of ME.....why do i have to feel so guilty about having time to myself (not because of shel) but I do.....and Ron was ...how much?? well I'm paying so who cares...

He was trying to get me to go to a Metallca concert with one of my mums...but it was £75 a ticket, plus travel to Dublin, and a hotel....amd it made me think...for that money I could get loads of treatments...and I told him...a metallica concert would mean a late night, lots of noise and when I got back I'd be tired and find it hard to cope with Wayne.....I'd rather have a relaxation break....tuts from Ron....but hey I'm a mum now not a teenager...omg am I getting old...lol

Funny, K said the other day, why don't you go out with Ron to where he goes...well the last one was outside, driving quad bikes round a track getting pissed in the dark and cold til god knows what time, then sleeping in the car....think a jacuzzi and sauna beats that slightly...lol We decided that men don't change when we have kids, women have to change.......oh I'm going on now

Anyway Ron's gone out tonight.....wonder if he feels guilty...not!!

He made tea though for when I got back...and we got the bouncy castle out today....it's ace...airflow...blows up in seconds...no aching calf muscles from pumping...and Wayne loved it x

And I'm having a corrie night...a whole week....ha ha ...I am sad and old lol...but hey no greys for a week due to the dye!!

Today started with Wayne nagging to go to Grandmas, I wanted him to go tomorrow so I could have some time to myself...but gave in as he was....doing my head in....lol

Ron was painting the house so we watched him and the kids climbed the ladder...flat on the ground....then we took Wayne....

Went to jumpin jacks and it was quiet, shel failed to show so i sent her a text to give her stick...lol.....a whole week without my mate...I can't take it...lol

School then home to play out....

We went for a meal before picking up Wayne and it was really nice.....and Ron paid....I'm sure I saw moths fly from his wallet lol.

Wayne had a whale of a time with Grandma....they'd been on an adventure...down a public footpath...I'm still not sure what happened lol...there was talk of cow poo and Wayne wetting himself laughing...and mum was rofl trying to tell me...oh well whatever...at bedtime Wayne was laughing saying flies were on the poo and chasing Grandma but not him...the mind boggles!!!

I've just been on tre ysgawen hall...again...but hey they've got an offer ...still not cheap...but I've emailed them....K and i had a chat today about me getting some 'me time'...she reckons I'm wonderwoman...rofl....don't think the outfit would fit lol...and I couldn't spin for long...but I know what she's getting at...and when she was telling me what I do...well all I can say is I felt knackered...I just get on with things and don't think about it...but when someone spells it out...well I've decided...I am going to make time for me...not just talk about it...and bless her she's just sent me an email with the link to the hall...nice to have mates who care x hubby just said I'm having no time off...well I know what he can do lol

Today was wet and miserable, no chance of putting up the new airflow bouncy castle...sigh...even if it will fit in the garden...lol

The morning was spent dancing to waynes new cd, party tunes...not bad for a kiddy one....not just hokey cokey, head shoulders etc..but macarena, ketchup and strangely brown girl in the ring...not sure if that's politically correct these days lol....by track 13 I thought I was going to collapse...but the kids thought it was great and did all the moves with me....(too much going to haven)

Thank god no one over 5 was around to see me!! mind you everyone was laughing at me the other night on the trampoline...apparently it was because of my hair!! and in music club when I was pinching biscuits meant for the kids I was told I was one of them anyway!!! ehhh...oh well obviously any street cred I had has long gone...lol

Shel couldn't come as baby had to go to hospital...all ok though...phew...

After lunch Wayne went with daddy to see aunty e and uncle e and we played with blocks and I read loads of books, then after school planted some peas...which I know will probably die as I am not green fingered at all...but hey the efforts there...we've got toms and sunflowers to do too......

Tonight Wayne was a bit sad, not sure if it's the come down after all the excitement....hoping it's not chicken pox...mind you he's had it...but apparently you can get it again!!

I have printed out loads of stuff for June.... trooping the colour (which on of the mindees dads is involved in)and loads about the royal family...yawn...but it's educational, summer solstice, fathers day, certificates for childminding week and other stuff..

Talking of childminding apparently the ncma are no longer funding the icp in Wales...so basically no one can register as a childminder in wales in the foreseeable unless they have started a course....I had a call the other day from the council about my dhc unit...they've had a bill for it and don't want to pay...well I aint paying...I only did it cos it was free...............

WHY is life always so complicated...or do I just attract problems...lol...even Ron said the other day how do I attract strange people...lol.....well it makes life interesting...................

another day

Today we went to music club and made hats with Ann and despite there being 2 barnardo workers there, Bob was missing and I ended up doing the music session...how come??? Shel reckons cos they're crap...lol...but hey she didn't see me!! She failed to turn up as her partner had her under house arrest...but yippee he's letting her out tomorrow for a visit to her local mad childminder....yes meeeeeee.....

We came home and the boys slept for a bit and Ron was cutting hedges.....before we knew it we had to go to school and then home to play in the garden.....

Rons kids were coming over tonight so he went to asda....twice in the end....I was NOT doing it all on my own this time.....I even made him dish up....and he and dd washed and dried which was nice....mind you there's a roasting tin lurking in the sink...lol

He phoned me to say there'd be another one for tea...WHAT....it was ds's girlfriend and she was really nice...poor thing having to meet Ron...lol...and meeee...turned out though she has been doing work placement with a childminder I know...small world

Wayne was excited about seeing them and they brought him some great books, read them all tonight...but thankfully tonight he went to bed in a calmer frame...yeh mummy vibes not daddy vibes...lol so hopefully he'll have a good sleep tonight

In other news one of the mindees (who was at the party) has chicken pox, so may have a few off in the next few weeks, apparently it takes up to 21 days to come out and is infectious 2 days before the rash comes out...so no avoiding that then....

I went up to the attic tonight and got Waynes baby book out...so funny....comments about lack of sleep....cot being useless...and a few tears as I found a letter from late gran...Wayne was fascinated...I also found a file of pics he'd done in 2005, a few from alder hey which I've kept out to file with his other work...

I also found a project I'd done in school on twins....think I'm going to try and find them on facebook, or friends reunited...they may not be interested but it was a study on them when they were 5....bizzarre

Not sure if I've mentioned this before but saw a fortune teller years ago (which I think is a load of crap)...or did....she said she could see me with lots of kids around me (just after I'd found out I couldn't have any)she could see twins and liverpool....how right she was in a way...surrounded by kids,twins too, liverpool (she said, after I told her how wrong she was, could be for treatment) but despite me not wanting fertility treatment Wayne ended up there anyway....funny old world.....

Well today was the official birthday, started well, took 3 kids and Ron to the playhouse and met k and j there. Had lunch there and the kids had a great time.
Took 1 to nursery and picked up 2 more then home to play out and do the school pick up.
Ron went for an mot for his bike...that's where it went downhill....he went from there to see a mate and got back in time for tea...like he does!! Trouble was I was doing a roast turkey for tea for us and the folks and bro (thinking Ron would be here to help me)...couldn't get to the garage for roasties...waiting for Ron....put the turkey in before school as he wasn't back and it was cooked too early...then when they all arrived mum got the pots and veg going and I blind forgot about the roasties as i was still working...and we ended up having to wait half an hour for them...and we were hungry!!
My bro was also outside having a fag in front of mindee and mum arriving...nobody had told him it's a no smoking zone when working....then I had to go picking up stumps all round the house incase someone eats one tomorrow!!

Anyway Wayne got more pressies while we were waiting for tea...and the spiderman weblaster went down well...ran out of web though..lol and the robbie rotten dress up resulted in Wayne prancing around like robbie rotten and impersonating the talking and singing on the periscope...hilarious

Waynes gone to bed crying, he was so tired and all the excitement is just too much....I managed to console him but then he started going on about going in the telly with scooby doo to help solve mysteries....his mind is racing with all his new stuff and he just won't switch off....bless...be glad to get back to normal...and work out where all the new toys will live!!!

Today we went to tesco to get a red power ranger with Waynes birthday money..and had lunch...and we saw the man from foel farm...they couldn't believe he was in tesco...lol (it's that ...he belongs in foel farm thing)

Went to foel farm and popped to the alpaca shop to seek something unusual for shels baby, came out with a bear...he spun me a yarn (although denying it) about being birth bears...but I was sold as they were soooo soft and well not the usual tesco teddy lol....I was greeeted like a long lost pal...nice but corny...lol

Did the usual at foel farm apart from seeing a shire horse with a hat and Wayne cuddling a guinea pig and calling it red ranger and seeing cockerels in the sand pit!...lol then school pick up and home to play in the sun...and do a cake for S who was 9 last week...and bubbles and party poppers...much to her embarrassment...lol

After tea did Waynes pressies as tomorrow will be hectic and he could enjoy them tonight....he loved them....and is probably still not asleep as he's soo excited...

Well today I cleaned......and cleaned.......

Then I printed out this months invoices, realised I hadn't done the weekly attendance sheets...so did them....did Mays accounts...then my finale tonight was finally doing my end of year online....it works out they owe me £5.60...ha ha me likes....

Ron came home and slept most of the day...sigh...men...mind you he went for a chinese tonight...so not all bad!

I've just wrapped up Waynes presents....he didn't want a bike so he's got lots of little things...in a big box....worked out cheaper and I know he'll love them...scooby doo figures,a mystery machine, rory pjs, shrek jigsaw and a scooby doo book......

Today we also did thank you cards and a new baby card and Wayne signed them all...there were loads!!!! he did well x

He had some fab pressies...scooby doo figures (not the same as my ones) 2 pjs, £45, a scooby doo mystery mansion, felt tips, colouring books, sticker books...oh and a power ranger hovertek....blue and now he wants a red one with his money...so tomorrow we're off to see if we can get one....

waynes 5th party and new baby....

What a fantastic day....

The sun shone all day and I enjoyed every minute......despite staying up too late last night....had a late text from Shel...getting twinges.....then woken at 6.30 ish by her partner....she had a baby boy at 5.01am....and unbelievably turned up at the party at teatime....what a beautiful baby...and a perfect end to the day...well apart from Ron going off to a party and leaving me to clean up the mess!! but hey you can't have everything!

Wayne got some lovely presents, I didn't seem to touch the ground all day, but everyone seemed to have a fab time....

I'v just filled in my visitor book...yeh had to put everyone down as I was working...37 in all....

I'm so tired..........but it was worth it................

All change

Well all plans changed today...not because of a new baby though...lol
Shel had the midwife coming at 1 so I took her to the breakwater for a walk and to feed the ducks...there's lots of ramps on the way and a cattle grid...but still no baby...lol

Dropped shel off and took the 3 boys to pili palas for lunch and a play (I knew if I was at home I'd be wanting to do party stuff and getting frustrated!!)

They left at 4 and I've just sat down....10pm!! I've done the baps, coleslaw, jelly, got the garden toys out (it will be sunny lol)put sand in the sandpit, sorted the house, put batteries in the bubble machine(it's fab)Ron got the compressor out and blew up ballons, the paddling pool and the spiderman bouncy castle (which is minute...lol) Moved stuff round the garden, lots of grating food!!

Ron put Wayne to bed while I made the coleslaw and jelly and I put VH1 on to dance while I did it and an old fav of mine came on Sledgehammer...Peter Gabriel...oh to admit to being a genesis fan lol

I am now going to chill for a bit...busy day tomorrow...the count is now 17 kids and 20 adults...but the weathers looking good....and Waynes sooo excited...and me lol....the icing on the cake would be Shel finally having the baby...better not miss the party though lol....I made jelly especially x

penrhyn castle

Today we made it to Penrhyn Castle and it was great, and Shelly didn't go into labour...phew...we took her notes and bag just in case.....in fact if she doesn't have the baby tonight we're going again tomorrow. We had free tickets with brit trips and saved £22.50...so a good free day out.
It was a victorian playday and we played with victorian toys, went in a classroom...booo....O knocked over ink and still has blue hands lol....did some print painting and saw the highlight of the day Mr Bimbamboozle, the kids loved him and we laughed a lot too....
Had a picnic then into the adventure playground for some climbing....

Home and tonight we've started on the boxes for the party and made scooby doo chocs and Rons cut the grass.

Overheard something cute this morning. Wayne and B were talking and B said 'do you hate your mummy?' Wayne had a think and said 'no I love my mummy' B said 'I love your mummy too' and Wayne said 'she's my mummy you love your mummy'
Oh these moments.....when does it change to...I hate my mummy....!!!

Tomorrow it's kids in the kitchen in Penrhyn and they're making sugar mice.....I probably need to do party stuff, but have decided I've got enough food and if it's not enough tough......you watch I'll be sending Ron out Saturday morning....lol

Oh and on the weather front the forecast is good....fingers crossed!!!

Today we started with a visit to uncle J, helped him with some washing and he made me a cuppa x

Went for car tax!!! arghhh £210......and to take the recycling to the centre as they never emptied the bin yesterday!!

Then we went to see K who had texted to invite me for lunch....nice....had a good natter and the boys played really well

Went from there to Shels, still babyless....we were going for a walk to the breakwater but by the time I got there it was too late and raining!!

Then to tesco to get a scooby doo cake and food for the party...filled the trolley...lol

By this time it was nearly five so rang Ron to say we'd be late...but be coming home with chinese......

Had a nice scram then I've spent the evening tidying the house and wondering if I can fit a bouncy castle inside if it rains saturday!! Think positive....it WILL be sunny....lol

Tomorrow if the sun shines it's penrhyn castle...if not, pili palas...and we're picking up Shel and O...all being well...

lie in.....

Today I managed to lie in til 8.30, I conned Wayne by putting the blackouts up and going in with him, he woke me up to say he couldn't put the telly on....sigh

I kept waking up wondering if Shel was ok and had the baby, got a text at 10am, nearly broke my neck running for the phone...lol....her battery had gone flat and she'd not got my messages...sigh...no baby yet....

Spent the morning half heartedly moving furniture....cots to be precise, want the front room clear for Saturday in case of bad weather, ended up moving the whole of our bedroom round to get the cots in...and I was NOT in the mood..... Wayne asked if we could go out...I dropped everything quick and off we went....

Went to get suspension files then to pili palas to pick up my new pram, get Wayne a croc pal and let him go on the tractors (only allowed when it's just us) he only wanted to go once though...he's such a good boy. Had a slush in the cafe, bounce on the castle, play in the park and playzone....the place was packed to the brim.....nice just the two of us x

Called at asda on the way back, then home, folks for tea and bro came too.

Today we have also finished the labels for party bags and boxes, Waynes written them all....just need to get the rest of the grub now....and his cake......

Found some sort of a nest tonight on the summerhouse, think it was wasp....but small...Ron got it down and it had 3 maggoty things in...urghhh...and he put the nest on the microwave....I quickly took it back out lol....and took a pic!!! of the maggoty things too!!

Another day off tomorrow....hurray.....and today the sun shone....hip hip hooray....

Went to foel farm and had a great time, getting blown around lol

Called at pili palas on the way back for a bounce on the bouncy castle and ended up buying a pram!! picking it up next time I go, no room with prams, 2 adults and 4 kids!!

Texted shel at lunchtime and she was still with us, just texted again and no reply as yet...hoping that means there's a baby on the way x

Today we had the twins and a lazyish day

Took them to pili palas for a bit and came home to do a cake for their birthday....they loved it....choccy.....

The weathers not been so clever and we are hoping for sunshine tomorrow to go to foel farm, Waynes been dying for daddy to go...but at the moment it's raining!!!

Mind you be even worse if it rains next Saturday, having Waynes party at home and I don't want my house trashed!!! What am I saying, part of my job...lol

I've done next months invoices tonight...I know sad but I've got 2 days off after tomorrow and don't want to be doing them then!!! Although the paperworks never ending so I'm sure I'll find something I need to do!!

plas newydd

Today we went to Plas Newydd for the launch of the anglesey walking festival...last night tents had been blown to bits and Mr Bimbamboozle failed to appear much to Waynes disappointment, however my brit trips free ticket was used...even though it said ...no bank hols...and we could go in the house which was nice. Wayne was really good and listened to the history and really enjoyed it....
Saw dawnsio gwerin, played in the adventure playground, did a bug trail, climbed in cut down tree trunks!! and Wayne roly polyed down the hill twice!! We also saw the red arrows acroos at Beaumaris...briefly....

Went from there to pili palas for grub and for Wayne to bounce on the bouncy castle

Then went to Nains to listen to them all going on about Hen Nains house.....

Then to asda to get a £25 bike I'd seen...gone...sigh...got party stuff though...suddenly realised only a week away...so texted or emailed people who haven't had invites yet and doing a list now for what I need.....I must be mad!!!

I'm too tired to blog anymore, all the wind and sunshine!!!!

day out in holyhead................

Today we went to Holyhead for the day...hey we know how to live...lol

We went to Boston centre stage...again....and they had a fab time....

Then for lunch in a cafe and a walk to see the big boats and over the trendy bridge to see the trains.....can you believe the excitement....

Then for a drive to Treaddur Bay to get the 2 little ones to sleep and we stopped to stroke some horses and look at the sea...Wayne wasn't too impressed with the cliff bits...thought he was going to fall in!!! hey my drivings not that bad!!

Then onto Jumpin Jacks for a bounce around...Shel was late and I was thinkin she may be in labour....nooo just delayed by troublesome kids ...lol...it's her last day of work today, due Monday, can't believe she's made it......I said I bet she'll go in tonight...now the relief of work is over!

Home to sit in the garden and do paperwork....

Did a chilli in the slow cooker and it was lurverly...we could have done with some garlic bread though....

Day off tomorrow and we're off to Plas Newydd for the launch of the Anglesey Walking Festival

Anyway on a lighter note Wayne was dressed up today as a binman...and spiderman...all at once!!! Last night he excelled himself...he had pj's, clothes, cowboy, bin man, spiderman...and tigger.....he was on the sofa and couldn't get up...bit like a sheep on it's back lol....don't know where he gets his strange ideas from lol....here he is.................

Today started badly...again.....think the fact that I'm so excited about 2 days off...together...next week...means that this week has to go badly...sigh

Ron woke up late, his lift phoned him..he was outside whoops!! Ron was asleep..

I had a late start and knew Wayne would wake me up early as per....no....he went and watched telly and I woke up late and just got dressed in time for shel arriving...

Picked up S who'd been on a sponsored walk then back to make lunch and have cake, it's the last time shels mindee will be coming as they all finish tomorrow....

Shel left and we rushed to Holyhead to a mother and toddler where the twins were having a party, the place was fab with a mini bouncy castle....they all want to go back....had more cake and lots of fun

Home just in time for everyone to leave and I had an hour to myself as I'd finally remembered this morning to do a stew in the slow cooker so no cooking tea required...

Ron is on the phone to his mum at the mo...I can hear him 2 rooms away....there's a big hoo ha going on about his late nains house....too long a story to tell....the usual fun and games!!

Another mad day today

Went to music club and as we got out of the car, little O picked up a handful of stones and threw them at MY car...and laughed...harsh words were said!!

It went from bad to worse as he had some dramatic tantrums....he was ok in the afternoon after a sleep though...phew....think he was tired and it was the usual...if things start going bad they spiral....

It was made good by tiny O doing a proper crawl across the floor...I videoed it but not checked to see if it's any good yet...sooo cute x

We made playdoh in music club and A gave me dates for more fun goings on....

Went from there to drop cards off for twins...2 tomorrow...and were asked to go to a little party at a mother and toddler tomorrow afternoon...so think i'll take their presents then instead of waiting til Sunday.

Lunch in tesco and O did a sock throwing thing...which resulted in me hunting tesco for the missing sock!! and failed...did I say he got better lol

Got cakes for kids birthdays and saw a scooby doo one...handy ...Wayne wanted me to get it there and then but I said we'd wait...hope they still have them next week!!!

Then into town to the bank and to watch the boats in the harbour....

Home and when they'd gone thought I'd take 5 on my hammock and read the paper....nooooo...Wayne came to sit with me and wanted to know what every picture was...what things said....noooo..so much for a bit of me time

Made tea and Rons gone to watch football and we've been wrapping presents and shel phoned...for an hour...you'd think we never saw each other...lol (actually it was under an hour, cos then she'd have to pay...lol) hmm the only reason I text her is cos I have free texts!!!

Tesco have been with Waynes things and he didn't see them...phew...

Wayne fell asleep this afternoon and as he's been a bit under the weather I left him...bad mistake ...he woke up grumpy...and still isn't in bed, I'm giving him til 9 then he's going...tired or not....I want to have a bit of quiet before Ron comes back!!! mind you we're not up early tomorrow so at least he should be ok tomorrow....famous last words!!!

Today started well, went to fishes and made spiders from foil and pipecleaners...with googly eyes which fell off....and the kids pulled the foil off on the way home and my car is littered!!

Saw Shel who has 6 days to go if baby is on time.....she looks soo well x

Came home to do grub and 2 sent my hammock flying by....well not sure...I was making grub!! They were like little gremlins...not sure what was wrong with them....lucnchtime was noisy to say the least....

Took one to nursey and picked 2 up and decided to go to pili palas for a couple of hours....let them bounce some energy off...lol

Steve said he'd got new tills and there's a button for a butter free ham baguette...rofl...bless him...I go there too much....I asked him if there was a black tea button too....oh and a 'she's here, get the fryer on' would have been a good one...lol

Met 2 childminders and found out about a couple of events coming up, having no local ncma members means Wrexham is the nearest and they send no bloody info through...well they wouldn't they're not local...sigh...at least I get about and am nosey so find these things out...lol

One of my kids today did my nut in...well I thought I was going crazy, got to fishes and the car seat wasn't strapped in.....omg....then got home and it was still not in...checked it and pulled and yanked to see why it was coming out....and it didn't budge....I was sure I'd done it properly.....got to pili palas and it was fine (little blighter asleep) got home tonight and it was out again...and I'd seen her fiddling....she was undoing it...I wasn't going mad....hurray....well not hurray....how dangerous...I spoke to her sternly...very rare for me...but wanted to let her know how dangerous it is and how the seat would fly forward if we stopped suddenly....(bet my insurance wouldn't cover me if it was undone either)told mum so she would be aware if it happened.....these kids.....it's bad enough having to stop every 5 minutes to put there straps back on when the houdinis have wriggled out.....I've had 3 of them and it's a nightmare....especially if you're late....but they soon stop when you're persistent....oh I am going on

Folks for tea and I got left with Gran for an hour and my head hurts now...bless her...I know she can't help being old, but it's hard work when she can hardly hear...and I have to shout, then she repeats...and one more old story and I would have exploded....just didn't need it tonight....mind you she's just heard she's got an op in June on her eye and July to have a biopsy on her neck for some thing she's got on there...so I shouldn't be so horrible...but you know when you've just had one of those days and all you want to do is relax.....

Oh well tomorrow's another day, got to go and do a letter for cssiw, check my accounts for a mum with the tax credits and email another to say I can have her lad half term.....I was hoping for 3 days off, and now it's 2, so on the day when I'm working anyway what's another one......money ha ha...I love them all really x

Clanfergecan

Today I only had one and Wayne, so gave them the choice of wherever....they were busy on the bikes and I said how about taking the bikes somewhere and Wayne said...yehh...Clanfergecan....which is Llanfairfechan...lol...so off we went

We had a great day, riding up and down the prom, watching the trains, going to the 2 parks, seeing a swan on it's nest of eggs.....fatal when I go there....I just want to go back...sigh

Saw loads of people I know and the sun was shining. We had lunch in a cafe and the boys ran me ragged....bikes do NOT go at a normal walking pace...thought I was going to have a heart attack...lol

Even more so when we got to the outdoor pool, the boys whipped everything off in seconds and jumped in!!! I did paddle but still had my jacket on...it was warm but the wind was cold....great to be a kid and not feel the cold...lol

I was planning on 3 streams but time ran out and we popped to grandad's old shop and nipped to see Gill...our next door shop neighbour...and F was still there...my old pal...so lovely catch up and Gill gave the boys a TY toy each so they were pleased x

Came home and nipped to asda on the way and got turkey for tea.

Spent this evening printing invites for Waynes party and cards for 3 mindees birthdays this month...then folding...we've got 25 adults and 18 kids and two babes coming to Waynes party... if everyone comes...so I also did a list for grub, it's not til a week Saturday but I need to be organised and get it sorted before....or I'll FRET!!!!!

Ron came home early tonight and Wayne announced to A, this is my Daddy (er yeh A knows)..then he said...he's the sock monster...we were rofl

So now instead of doing more work on sorting out the pc I'm off to have a peep at house prices......not that I want to move...but hey a girl can look...........

Yesterday got some trews from a peruvian shop...and Ron said I'd look like the guy from rentaghost in them...rofl...who cares... They have some great stuff there but boy did I get moidered...why do I attract these people...lol....he gave me a step by step story he used to tell his kids about a dragon...oh I won't go on!!! mind you Wayne liked it and I got him some giraffe gloves...cool...

This morning I thought I'd have a nice quiet soak in the bath, but when I ran it the water was brown!!! bit worrying as we all drink it!!

And my scan is now on 4%, perhaps I shouldn't be surfing...sigh....just hope I can sort the pc out...I can't live without it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

vintage rally

Today was sunny...yeh...and we went to the vintage rally and had a great day.
The usual bumping into people and spending hours chatting....way too expensive food....and wayyyyy too much money spent on rides...and ended with Wayne tired and in tears......as he just wanted more and more...hey ho...to be expected

We had a tractor ride, Wayne hooked a duck and won a scooby doo inflatable, Wayne and I had a steam train ride...ha ha....and the guy winked at me and gave me a quid back...then some man who looked like santa sat on me!!!....saw lots of tractors, bikes, cars. Wayne went on a swing, carousel and bouncy slide and we walked miles!!!

We bought an owl while Ron was amiss...it's wooden and you can blow in it and it goes twit twooo.... how cool is that lol

We came home and slobbed in the garden and Ron made tea...shock horror...how nice x

Tonight I thought I'd look into why the pc is going soooo slow....3 hours later I've got printouts to try...downloaded stuff for printer/scanner and now doing a scan...I didn't renew my norton and think that may be causing probs too...oh the fun....

Never mind a later start tomorrow as one is missing and if I can get the pc to run faster it will save time !!! lol

Wayne woke up sniffly, but ok,he always looks worse as he rubs his face with his sleeve!! yuk and ends up with red cheeks...

Anyway we made it to Foel farm and the twins loved it, feeding the animals, stroking a rabbit, rides. When we went to see the shire horses Wayne said, where's the other one??...put down....oops...

Home for tea and thinking I had a quiet evening of double corrie and some slush...but Ron turned up back from footy, hadn't been drinking...sigh...no pleasing me...moan if he goes and moan if he comes back, but I have to deal with telling Wayne I can't sleep with him now....and Ron's watching matrix while I'm in here...corrieless...

Had chortles with Shel today, she's done a cast of her pregnant belly...I'd never heard of it before.....so I'm not the only nutty one...lol

Today Wayne wanted to go to Grandmas...handy as I wanted to go to tesco to get his birthday pressies....tesco had the best prices for scooby doo...lol
Got there and the prices were dearer and they didn't have the main one he wanted (half price) so have ended up ordering online...and getting treble points...yehh...delivery was a bit steep but I opted for a 2 hour slot, so at least I don't have to stay in all day

Me and my two babs had elevenses in tesco then they slept on the run to holyhead for jumpin jacks, little o is starting to crawl...well not crawl but slither backwards...he loved it on the mats, especially as when he rolled over it was soft!!

Met Shel and K and then chips in the cafe and home

Shels got just over a week to go and looks soo well..I was a wreck at the end, swollen feet, shattered!!

When the little ones had gone took bro's pressies over, new towels (washed so they would dry him...lol) and an airer, put them up, then whizzed to get Wayne who had been learning about butterflies, made mash...but not eaten it lol, seen a magpies nest and learnt about shiny things...and tonight announced while rofl that Sam had done a big poo and it was really funny (sam's a horse)

Folks mentioned about all the questions...yep...lol.....I get it 24/7...and not just from him!!!

Then on for a chinese and got home to victor meldrew, swearing and moaning, I knew I shouldn't have mentioned that J had reversed into his car...no damage...but I suggested he move it to prevent further mishaps (he's had to move it back cos of the trailer...for the quad...sigh) oh and the world comes to an end...he's always being told what to do blah...no thanks for the chinese...you must be tired after doing over a hundred miles and rushing since 4 to get back with said chinese....bloody men!!!

Anyway ordered Waynes pressies, Waynes coming in for a cold, medicine tonight and snuffling, hoping he's ok for the weekend.

Today shel came round, the kids were all playing up, not sure if it's the weather...and Wayne spent most of the day in the bedroom...so me thinks he may be coming in for something

Bro popped round tonight to use the pc and Wayne and I made a model train, played lego, then played with the car track and had great fun

Looking like rain tonight....noooo...we're planning on the vintage rally this weekend, so we want sunshine...although Saturday I've got the twins so it'll have to be sunday...thinking of foel farm sat...if the weather holds up...and Wayne....

Today we went to the bank, then music club and did painting...and music...and played out in the sunshine...then on to recycle, tesco for lunch, then wilkos, argos and brantano...and the day was gone...time to get home to make tea.

I've had an hour swinging in the garden and Wayne has amused me lol

He wanted to know if he could swing when he was daddies age (46) I said yes but he probably wouldn't be living with mummy then, and he started crying and said but mummy I want to stay with you forever and never grow up...ahh sweet....errr...could I have that in writing...lol....you know when he becomes a ratbag of a teenager and hates me x

Daddy came home and he was dancing to the spice girls (Wayne not Ron lol)

I don't seem to have mentioned education again for a bit....it's funny but as we don't sit and do lessons I have to think what we've done....should be writing it down more really for cssiw

The other night he painted a cardboard cape, I'll blog a pic, it looks fab, he really took his time and concentrated on it.
Today while we were talking about age he wanted to count to 46, we've been doing days of the week, months of the year..etc...while swinging...lol

Oh bugger trying to think, Wayne is learning the most important lesson at the moment, when the sun shines make the most of it x and don't forget the suncream..lol

Ha just remembered something my dad came out with last night, we were talking about some poor guy who was diagnosed with cancer after christmas and died the other week...he was fit and never smoked or drank......and dad came out with

Today was sunny again...yehhh..but windy....the brolly that was shading the little one flew off, I grabbed it and was like Mary Poppins flying across the garden...much to the amusement of the kids..lol

We had to go out to take one to nursey and pick two up, then home and 3 slept for an hour...

Then more play in the garden, watering the plants...each other!!!

Had an email from a rellie I've not seen for years....rofl at him...think we have the same sense of humour...sad!!! and the love of tea x

Funny talking to mum tonight and Ron was shaking his head at my tightness...when he's finished toothpaste...I seem to manage to get the last bits out for weeks after....think it started with a discussion on recycling and how me and mum wash out everything...and Ron doesn't...Mum said 'what about shampoo bottles?' and I said 'well they're washed out as I put water in at the end to get every last drop out' in fact this morning I put water in a leave in conditioner bottle to make the last bits of use...and it did wonders for my hair...lol....am I sad or what????

But hey I looked beautiful for the day...ha ha... I wish

Today was lovely again, so we stayed home all day and played in the garden, had a picnic, swung on the hammock and 2 fell fully clothed in the paddling pool....hilarious....this staying at home lark makes the paperwork simpler too!!

Tonight we went to see Uncle Jacks new flat, it's fantastic, support workers 24/7...met 3 and they were really nice.....the place is great and Jacks flat is really nice...with alarms for if he's in trouble, they're sorting out a care plan in the week and I'm soo happy for him. What a great opportunity to gain independance, with help there if he needs it. He'll be nearer me too so hoping in my sparce free time we can go over, and with him being near the leisure centre thinking we may be able to combine a trip there and take him along.....if he wants....

Home to tidy the garden and fix Waynes knees, fallen twice today, corking grazes on his knees...and what a brave soldier...not....screaming.....then howling when I tried to bath him to get the dirt out.....ooohhh cruel mummy...lol

Well the washer finally finished its 3 hour cycle, but when it came to spin it flew across the room...we had to hold on to it to stop it going further....great hilarity after a beer too...lol....not funny though was we'd failed to remove some transit bolts....whoops...it now spins like a dream and moves not....and I've cleared the backlog of washing this weekend

It's been a belter of a weekend....lots of sunshine....yehhhhhhh

Saturday we put the tumble drier in the garage and Ron went to get a leg to support the worktop and the plan was to put a cupboard there, but it won't fit....sigh...so the cupboards gone on its end for now....to fit...and it looks ok, will have to have a rethink!!!

Poor Ron, he hates it when I say....'I've been thinking'.....Ron was kept busy taking the blown up tv and washer to the tip and putting in a line in the summer house....handy for drying in there

I've been working today and Rons gone to watch everton, just checked and they won 3-1so he'll be pleased

We've had a day in the garden and as they drove away tonight, it rained, sigh, oh well shouldn't complain... It's still warm so I went and gave the car a wash....it was filthy

I'm now off to relax on my hammock while Wayne carries on painting his cardboard cape!!!

usual straightforward events!!

Well it didn't rain yesterday and we had a fantabulous day in the garden....from 8am til 9.30pm...cars, bikes, sand, paddling, picnics, it was lurverly.
Wayne and I did a whizz to wilkos when i finished at 4 for a swinging hammock...hence the 9.30pm finish....took me ages to put it up, Ron had gone for a spin on the bike...and Wayne managed to make a hole in the seat with scissors...sigh...only small though, and has not spolit my enjoyment of swinging..
Today was a bit wet and miserable...didn't stop me swinging though lol
The day started badly with a letter from argos, my washing machine would be in the warehouse on May 30th, they would then phone me for delivery....WHAT...NOOOOO...phoned to cancel and went to Bangor to get one...and did.....good price tooo.....trouble is after we got it, plumbed it in, I did a wash....just picked one of many programmes....and it seemed to be going on for ages...read the book...tut tut...should have done that first....the programme takes 3 hours....some bloody economy thing.....so it may finish by the time Rossy's on...sigh
Oh well can spend my day off catching up on the washing...and it's a 8kg drum so will take half the time!!! Oh the fun I have......WHY MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

another scorcher

Today was a scorcher......yehhhhh
We went to music club then tesco for lunch and vest tops and brantano for sandals and a discount...handy....one of my parents works there....ended up with me and Wayne getting some crocs....I saw some great sandals with a wedge heel...not practical for work...and being as I work 6 days a week decided crocs were more practical...booo
Wandered across to Wilkos and had a swing on the hammock in there, if I'd had room in the car I would have got it, it's sooo relaxing
Someones mentioned rain for tomorrow....nooooooooo
My text gremlin is a network problem...so hoping it's sorted soon...
We got the paddling pool out as I finished early and Wayne was naked as a j bird in seconds....put his foot in the pool and said it was toooo cold and spent half an hour running naked round the garden jabbering to himslef....wot must the neighbours think ...lol.....I resisted the temptation to do the same and slobbed in a chair!!

Monday we went to Caernarfon Castle for medieval entertainment, it was good but not as good as the aug bank hol one last year....had 3 kids and Ron came too....had chips in a cafe and went to a park to end the day...all fell asleep on the way home...apart from me lol...driving

Last night finally ordered a washer after much faff.....as per usual....got to wait for a call with delivery date...so with all this hot weather we'll all be stinkin....lol
Today we went to fishes and then pili palas...another scorcher...tonight Ron went for a meal with work and the folks came for tea
My mobiles been acting strangely...when i send a text it gets duplicated, Shelly got 3 the other day...not sure why?? gremlins maybe...lol

got a tent

Well we went to look at tents in Caernarfon...not impressed...so ended up in Warws..Beddgelert....(that takes me back to cinema days in Bangor)just for a look....went for a wander to a cafe for lunch and went back and bought one...last years...as it was half price due to colour change...do we care!!

It's fab....and 6 berth...yep only 3 of us but loads of space...came home and erected....with 2 mindees....when they'd gone erected better (not much room in garden as it's massive!!)

Ron came home with chinese and we had two tables, and chairs for all and still loads of space...I had to get a chair to attach the bedrooms as it's soooo high....can't wait to go camping....mind you...my back hurts from all the erecting...and I don't fancy doing it in the wind and rain....lol

Also got airbeds and a cooking stand...fantastic...roughing it ..with a bit of class and hopefully no more rib moving and bad backs
The tent I picked has headroom even in the bedroom...blisss...no more lying down trying to get dressed!!

Today started badly...fees for credit card due to late payment...£12...gits...only one day late...then we went off to the market for veg and to the bank...came back and the washer was....wet...no longer spinning...been making mad noises for ages...so spent hours tonight trying to find a new one...want a big un so I can wash my blankets...costs me a fiver at the laundrette and they've been in bags for ages...too mean to pay...lol

Had a lovely afternoon in the garden....sunshine....yehhhh

Rons gone to a 40th party...I considered....but although it's bank holiday I have one day off tomorrow and want to be here and not feeling like crap ...with Wayne miserable....

So tonight I've dyed my hair.....again....red...and well ...been looking for a washer...what a way to spend a saturday night

busy day

Today we had a busy day at home, I had 5 and shel came with 2, luckily it was sunny so they played outside for a while. I threw a bag of sausage rolls in the oven and made lots of butties!!
Did the school run and came home to make tea.
I've given up looking for tents on the internet and plan to go looking, maybe tomorrow, you really need to see a tent!
So busy looking for tents forgot about the bike...lol
Sorted out what's what for September....or thereabouts....mind you it could all change!! Looks like I've got a bit of work over the summer hols, with most being teachers I'm usually quiet, at the mo I'll be off mon to weds...nice...time will tell.....nothing ever stays the same in this game!!!
