Forgot to say...with all my moidering!!!!
Today I filled in a form for the council tax
We received it last week and it's to see if we've gone into a higher band after adding an extension....what????
So we spend 10k on our home to make it better and the f'ing council tax may go up cos now the house is worth more money....
We knew we'd get it but it just seems like madness
What is the world coming too????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
It's funny...or not....we've been saying with all that's happening with E, why don't we just sell up and spend the money on doing what we want to do....like get a harley....yeh Ron x but if we did we'd get help with housing, council tax, I'd get tax relief on the rent....don't get it with a mortgage
Cos that was the weird thing, when I asked Ron what he'd do if he was told he hadn't long left he said he'd want to travel around on a harley...america I think....
I sort of think I like my life as it is...no ambitions to travel...in fact I even said I'd still childmind...I love my work and the children, it gives me great personal satisfaction and Wayne loves life as it is...holidays in Haven and lots of play and playmates....I felt like I was a bit sad...but then realised although I work too hard and could do with a bit more 'me time' all I do is maybe a bit boring in the eyes of others but I make the most of every day and try and have fun along the way and although it's hardly jet setting it just me x
Funny really when I was younger and even now when people are like wow I'd really like to meet....some popstar or famous bod......I always thought....hey they're all only people like me...mind you....if Robbie Williams knocked on the door I'd probably swwon...then tell him to p off...what a dog....see no ambition.....
I really need my day off huh...cracking up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm like you in the sense that I'm happy where I am, doing what I do too. I don't think I'd want to do anything too exciting - just visit Eurodisney again with all the kids, maybe go to Italy and do all the sights, perhaps go back to Paradise Island in the Bahamas where we had our honeymoon to see how much it's changed (although I don't fancy the flight!) and then have a crafty snog with Sean Bean! ;-)
Then I'd be happy just to be at home, lol.
Can't believe about the council tax - it's expensive enough as it is!
