Today we went shopping and then came back home for a bit before the party.
We arrived at the party and some dim wit decided to park half on the grass....after all this rain....yes you guessed...I got stuck!!! the front wheel was well sunk by the time I'd tried numerous times to get out....the kids thought it was hilarious with mud flying at the windscreen....I didn't!!! So took the kids in to the party and phoned the aa....again....well I hadn't used them in 4 years....twice in a week now!!! He came and after laughing at me....same guy as the other day...got me out in no time....phew....
So I missed pass the parcel and the first half of the food, but the kids had a great time.......and there were jibes about me having a thing for the AA man...hah they didn't see him!!
Came home and it was late as we dropped off M on the way and I did a roast for tea...
As predicted E went to Liverpool first thing this morning and they're going to operate first thing tomorrow morning....so fingers crossed all ends well...I'm really feeling for them both tonight.................

Great to be able to read your blog again.
So sorry to hear about your B.I.L.
I hope that he soon gets sorted out in Liverpool and things will begin to look more positive. I remember how scary it was when Mark was diagnosed, although that was more easily treated. A brain tumour is far more scary. My thoughts are with you all.
Anyway...what does the AA man look like?! ;-)
Lovely to look back over your Christmas piccies and I see Wayne still adores dressing-up and still looks so cute doing so! :-)

Yeh I wonder how long the dressing up will continue...he's already said he needs a bigger santa suit for next year....
